EVENT: IMATS TORONTO 2019

thebeautyblog.ca
The International Makeup Artist Trade Show took place on September 2019 at the convention centre. This year the show was very scaled down and it felt very underwhelming. The hall was small and not all vendors that we were accustomed to seeing where present.

No long line ups, not much of a selection (I found no lashes!!) and the main part of the show is the artistry which was noticeably missing this year.

No battle of the brushes! Or any type of artistry other from what I saw just the pleasure of seeing Larrisa P doing her thing with special FX demo.

The speakers where ok, the bargains alright, the excitement non Existence. The vendors again charging in US $ so if any discount was out the window of you paid via debit or credit..

My thoughts are that unfortunately, I don’t think IMATS will be back in Toronto again..just from the low attendance to the little interest from vendors to us knowing exactly when the date for the next one will be..usually its announced by the end of the weekend but no mention of a date for 2020.

I will update this post IF date is announced.
