Who would of thought that after 29 years from my highschool prom, I would be again attending a Prom. This time, Prom had an open bar, I had a date, wore black and got to play with makeup!

Thanks to NYX Cosmetics Canada, I was invited to celebrate the opening of the new NYX store in the Toronto Eaton Centre with a Prom.

The venue was at the grand ballroom of the famous Berkeley Church (built 1871) on Queen st E that has 17ft high stained glass windows, a victorian inspired bar, beautiful fireplaces and a wrap around mezzanine.

The night began with a great greeting from the PR staff and we were handed our pink bracelet to show that we were over the drinking age, we got our Class of 2016 NYX pin and I handed in my donation Prom dress. The night followed with great music, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a fun game of spot the famous Canadian Youtube guru.

We were asked to bring a pre-loved Prom dress to be donated to the great charity project New Circles Prom Boutique. The New Circles Prom boutique helps students facing economic barriers shop for a prom outfit at no cost. Giving them a chance to attend this milestone event looking their best.
The DJ had us dancing till midnight!
Makeup touch up stations, a little piece of heaven with all NYX goodies. Perfect place to touch up your lipstick for all the pictures to be taken at the numerous photo booths and great selfie spots around the ballroom.
Pink lip cookies!
