It's the middle of Summer 2016 and we are again under a heat wave...Heat equals humidity, humidity equals bugs! Mosquito heaven...
Last week, I escaped the city and headed out to be with nature. I went camping. Well...Glamping. Found myself shopping for the essential, unscented everything...scent attracts bugs and flies so when it came to bug spray I packed my skin so soft iconic original bath oil spray, as it has been a tried and tested bug spray repellent. Then, I remeneber that Avon Canada had sent me a pack of Skin-so-Soft Bug Guard plus Icaridin wipes to review!
I totally recommend these wipes! They are so effective, so easy to apply, so convenient and most importantly they work! Not one bite the first night camping. One wipe was enough for my legs, arms, neck and ears. The great part of this wipes was that they also applied awesome Skin-so-soft lotion on the skin and I did not have to apply cream...always a good thing to keep it minimal when camping...gives you more time to make S'mores.
Ok, what is Icaridin?
Icaridin repels insects and makes them less likely to bite. It seems to block mosquitoes from sensing their prey and doesn't kill insects. Icaridin is a new topical insect repellent that entered the U.S. market in 2005 and was approved by Health Canada in 2012. Icaridin is considered to be as effective as DEET for offering protection against mosquito and tick bites.
