REVIEW: DERMABLEND FLUID CORRECTIVE FOUNDATION

With 25% of pigments, the new exclusive formula of Dermablend Corrective foundation combines a covering power 2 times stronger than a traditional foundation to a "bare skin feel" finish.

The claims of this foundation is that it has been tested on skin that has minimal to moderate skin imperfections. Skin conditions like uneven skin tone, acne, burns, vitiligo, angiona, rosacea, hyper pigmentation, dark circles and more.

Oil free formula covers and corrects all imperfection for an even looking complexion, sweat and oil resistant with a 16hr hold. The texture is so light and it dries to a power finish, literally melts into your skin and with an ultimate coverage with no makeup feel.

OK, so I have been wearing this foundation for about 2 weeks now and have fallen in love! The ultimate flawless coverage this Vichy Dermablend fluid corrective foundation is what I have looking for in a light weight foundation. My main concern is and always is my cheeks..I have little purple veins that peak through my skin and when trying to cover them, they sometimes can look like bruises. Not with this foundation, I don't even have to wear concealer! Totally camouflages my veins and my skin looks amazing.
16hr wear? I must say yes! even longer if you prep your skin with a great primer and set it with their silica based setting powder. The best part is that your skin feels bare, yes, the claims are true, it truly feels like you have bare skin with no foundation at all and the coverage maintains all day into the night and the next day if you do not remove it...yes, I sacrificed a night without removing my makeup to test this awesome foundation.

I tried a few application methods:
1. Traditional foundation brush - I found that it left streaks...
2. Buffing brush - I used the real techniques buffing brush and it was heaven, buffing in this foundation made my skin look so natural and flawless.,I used less product with the buffing brush.
3. Wet sponge, used both Quo sponge and real techniques sponge, I found that the sponge diluted the formula and coverage was not optimal, although the coverage was better than other foundations with this application.

I keep reaching for the buffing brush because I find the foundation applies better and I use less product.

The only down side to this foundation is the limited colours available in Canada,  only 5 shades. I use shade #45 gold.

Tried and tested!
